This is a basic standard for all management systems of ISO’s international approach.

It establishes the criteria for a quality management system when an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to provide products or services that comply with its clients’ requirements and applicable regulations.

ISO 9001’s main focus is the client’s satisfaction, the risk and opportunity analysis, as well as the senior management’s commitment, through the effective application of the management system, including processes of continuous improvement and the compliance of the legal requirements and applicable regulations.

The standard’s requirements are applicable to all organizations, regardless of their operations, size, products, or services.

ADDITIONAL REQUIEREMENTS

  • To keep a documented system in compliance with the applicable standard.
  • To keep clearly defined the certification scope.
  • To keep evidence of implementation of the management system at list 3 months. *Recommended.
  • To keep internal auditors with the competence to develop internal audits.
  • To keep associated records with at list one internal audit.
  • To keep evidence of associated implementation with the documented process, registry control, taken actions, internal audits, among others.
  • To keep associated records with the management commitment, where requirements for compliance is assured which the applicable standard indicates for such review.
  • To assure the policy and defined objectives were associated and documented in accordance with the indicated standard requirements.
